1964 Pontiac Tempest Specifications

The synchronous three-speed publication transmission used a dry plate clutch. The front independent suspension used ball joints and coil springs, with coil springs in the rear. The steering gear was a recirculating ball-and-nut type. The brakes featured hydraulic drums.
