Replace Shocks On The Plymouth Neon

Plymouth used shocks on the rear of the Plymouth Neon to soften the coerce of the vehicle. Unlike the rear of the vehicle, there are struts on the front. Accommodation a jack under the frame, close to the rear tire. Jack the Neon, until you can fit a jack stand under the frame, directly in front of the jack. Lower the Neon onto the jack stand.


3. Remove the lug nuts, using the tire iron, and pull the spin off the Neon.


4. Remove the bolt that holds the lower half of the shock onto the lower shock Tyre, using a socket and ratchet.


5. Remove the bolt that holds the top half of the shock onto the upper shock hoop, using a socket and ratchet. Pull the elderly shock free lunch from the suspension.


6. Community the upper half of the shock into the shock Tyre, and secure it, using the bolt, socket and ratchet.


7. Community the lower half of the shock into the lower shock Tyre, and secure it, using the bolt, the socket and the ratchet.


1. Loosen all of the lug nuts, using the tire iron, supplied with the Neon.2.


Jack the Neon; remove the jack stand, and lower the Neon to the ground.


10. Tighten the lug nuts with the tire iron, and plentiful the course on the other side of the vehicle.
