1. Disconnect the wire harness from the replica of the mirror. The harness has a baby tab in its centre.
Whether the directional compass stops working in your Toyota Corolla's rearview mirror or for some ground the mirror cracks, the lone approach to establish the box is to alternate the mirror. Happily, replacing the mirror is not complicated and doesn't cut all the more era. Although the dealership has the fundamental parts, contacting your resident auto-parts store may be a less expensive alternative.
Instructions
Pry the tab up and pull the connecting ends apart. Whether you compass a base Corolla that does not have a built-in compass, skip this step.
2. Remove the T8 Torx screw that secures the stem of the mirror to the window button glued to the windshield.
3. Slide the stem of the mirror up to remove it from the window button.
4. Slide the replacement mirror onto the button and secure it into place with the T8 Torx screw.
5. Reconnect the wire harness and press the small tab back down to prevent the two pieces from separating.
