Repair An Automotive Headliner

Tuck the edge of the headliner behind the loosened trim piece. Tighten the Phillips screws on the trim piece, so it will hold the headliner. Use a flat screwdriver to tuck the headliner behind the trim.


Instructions


1. Holding the falling headliner, and pull it to the nearest column of the ceiling, where it came away of. Headliner material is elastic, so it can be stretched, but it is also extremely thin and fragile, so be careful when pulling it.


2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screws of the trim piece that should be holding the headliner. The Phillips screws should be plainly visible along the edges of the trim.


3. Spray a thin coat of adhesive onto the exposed ceiling and the back side of the headliner. Allow them to dry for one minute. Press the headliner against the ceiling, pushing any wrinkles towards to edge to receive them out.


4.The headliner in your vehicle doesn't purchase yet control, until it becomes torn or starts to sag into your path of Place.
