3. Slide the clamp onto the exhaust pipe then slide on the exhaust tips. Move the clamp back over the tip of the joint between the exhaust pipe and the exhaust tips. Tighten the clamp with a screwdriver. You can also weld the tips in place although this requires specialized equipment and skills. You should not attempt to weld unless you have prior experience doing so.


4. Repeat the process for the other side of the car. The Firebird has a tip coming out of both the left and the right sides of the car. Once you have both tips in place, make sure they both extend the same distance out from the bumper. Also make sure that both tips are level.
