Modify A Motorola Signal Booster For Cable

You can doctor up your picture sort with a signal booster.

Many cable providers use a Motorola cable receiver to take in the program signal, unscramble it, then produce it on a television set. If you are taking the video signal from a single Motorola cable receiver and sending it to multiple televisions (such as at a sports bar or other establishment) you are going to lose image quality due to the signal being spread out over multiple cables. To correct this, modify the signal by boosting it with a signal power booster.

If you have the Motorola receiver connected to just one television there is no need to modify and boost the signal, as it is at its strongest.2. Attach the cable you just disconnected into the "In" port on your signal booster.

Instructions

1. Disconnect the cable running from the "Out" port on your Motorola receiver from the signal splitter to which you have it connected. The signal splitter takes the cable information and sends it to different televisions.

3. Plug the signal booster into a local electrical outlet. You can purchase a signal booster from most electronic stores.

4. Attach the signal splitter (or whatever other device to which you had the "Out" video cable from the receiver connected) to the signal booster. All televisions hooked up to the system will instantly receive a clearer image and improved video quality.
