Scooters, a low-cost, efficient transportation alternative, compass minimal prolongation requirements, allowing the owner to perform most of the needed drudgery. One of the augmented hard tasks is replacing the tire's inner tubes. Although not very laborious, the modus operandi requires especial tools, including a tire bead breaker.
Instructions
Wheel Removal
1. Free the scooter's left, rear side include. Remove the nuts that secure the muffler to the exhaust main and those securing the muffler to the frame. Pull the muffler for nothing and allot it aside.
2. Straighten the rear axle cotter pin and remove it with a yoke of pliers. Engage the rear brake, by pedal or lever. Split the torque on the axle kernel using an appropriately sized socket attached to a breaker bar. Remove the rear axle follower and washer. Pull the rear tire off the swing arm.
3. Remove the front turn. Unbolt the front brake caliper and loosen the front axle pinch bolts. Hole the torque on the front axle kernel using an appropriately sized socket attached to a breaker bar. Remove the fan and push the front axle gone of the forks. The front circle should pdq be at liberty from the forks.
Tire and Tube Replacement
4. Remove the tire's valve stem core and lock peanut to deflate the tire. Breach the seal, or bead, between the tire and circle using a bread breaker baggage.
5. Loosen the tire by urgent down firmly along the sidewall. Encompass the curved mark of the tire irons between the tire and rim, placing the tire irons in the Eleven and Twelve o'Watch positions.
6. Press down firmly on the tire irons to stretch the limit of the tire over the lip of the rim. Clutch the Eleven o'Watch tire iron in dwelling and movement the Twelve o'Watch tire iron to the One o'Watch position. Stretch the tire over the rim by pushing down on the One o'Watch tire iron. Corner your tire iron between the tire and rim and pull the remaining projection of the tire over the rim.9. Inflate the new inner tube slightly and slide it into the tire. Pull the valve stem though the rim and secure it by tightening the valve stem lock nut.

8. Slip the string of the virgin tire over the rim. Remove the tire irons and pull the remaining lip of the tire off the rim, leaving the tire attached to the rim by onliest one side.7. Pull gone the inner tube and slide a tire iron between the rim and the inner lip of the tire.
10. Pull the remaining lip of the tire onto the rim with a tire iron. Inflate the inner tube until you hear two loud pops, indicating that the beads have been set. Adjust tire pressure by deflating and/or filling the tire until you have obtained your desired tire pressure.
