Instructions
1. Slide the auto jack under the side of the axle on which your muffler is located--this is usually the rear passenger side tire. Pump the auto jack handle up and down until the car is raised Four to Six inches off the ground, allowing ample workspace.
2. Spray rust remover on the two bolts connecting the muffler to the exhaust pipe coming out of the engine. Spray rust remover on the bolt and nut holding each of the two straps around the muffler up against the vehicle frame.

Pull the old muffler off of the exhaust pipe. Slide the new muffler onto the exhaust pipe.
5. Tighten the two bolts through the muffler bracket into the exhaust pipe bracket.
6. Tighten the two straps back around the body of the new muffler and over the vehicle frame above the muffler.
7. Lower and remove the auto jack.
