Remove Hubcaps From Kia Spectra

Hubcaps are an esthetic attribute on steel- rimmed tires.

Hubcaps gain eventually be rarer and rarer on vehivle models that enjoy converted their wheels to aluminium alloy rims. Nevertheless, some of the lower attribute cars choose to accumulate steel rims in grouping to cache the payment of the vehicle down and pass the funds onto the consumers. The Kia Spectra is an illustration of an inexpensive import that uses steel rims. Remove the hubcap. If removing/replacing all the hub caps, you will have to resecure the tire to the car before lowering it and moving on to the next wheel, unless you use four jack stands (or a lift as previously mentioned) for the process.

Apply the parking brake on the Kia Spectra with the vehicle parked on a hard, level surface suitable for lifting and supporting it. Ensure the vehicle is in park or in gear.

2. Loosen the lug nuts (four per tire) first on the wheel the hubcap is coming off (if all four hubcaps are coming off, it can only be done by applying one tire-removal procedure at a time, without raising the entire vehicle on a car lift).

3. Raise the quarter panel of the Spectra where the hubcab you want to remove is, using the car jack. Just raise the car high enough to allow the tire to come off the ground.

4. Remove the four loosened lug nuts.

5. As of 2011, while many domestic vehicles use a snap-in-place hubcap, the import companies use a different approach to keep the hubcaps on.
