Installation


14. Push the new ignition lock cylinder retaining pin and insert new lock cylinder into housing until the retaining pin pops out and seats into the hole. Mount the new ignition switch and then install the mounting screws with a Phillips screwdriver.


15. Plug in the ignition switch connector to the wiring harness by simply pressing into the harness housing.


Install the steering wheel switches and mounting screws with a Phillips screwdriver.


16. Reinstall the steering wheel cover with a Phillips screwdriver. Install the steering wheel back onto splined shaft and align mark. Install the steering wheel mounting nut and torque down to Twenty six foot-pounds using a 3/8-inch torque ratchet and correct size socket.


17.Plug in the horn and cruise control connectors by simply pressing into connector housing. Reinsert the air bag module and connect the connector.


Pull the steering wheel off the splined shaft using a steering wheel puller tool and set steering wheel out of way.11. Remove the steering wheel cover by unscrewing the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Then remove the steering wheel switches in the same manner.


19. Reinstall the negative and positive battery cables using correct-sized wrench.


Insert the key and try to pull out ignition cylinder. Start the unit and run for one to three minutes.
