Change A Gas Tank Air Conditioning Filter Inside A Kia Spectra

A hose clamp holds the filter to the vent hose.


The Kia spectra has a fuel vehicle air filter that filters the air into the vent hose and is attached to the filler neck to garner it from rattling. Changing the fuel container air filter is a straightforward billet that can be done in approximately a half date. Instructions


1. Return off the screws that clench the rear left splash shield in deposit inside the rear fender. Gate gone the splash shield. You should be able to espy the filler neck and the filter that is attached to it.


2. Bag needle-nose pliers to chop the strip tie that holds the filter to the filler neck. Connect the electrical connector by snapping it in community. Lightly pull on the connector to make sure it has been seated properly and will not come off. Attach the filter to the filler neck with the strip tie and tighten the tie until the filter is secure.5. Replace the rear left splash shield and tighten the screws so that it is held tightly and will not move.


Pull the filter elsewhere from the vent hose and discard it. Compass the distinct filter on the vent hose and slide the hose clamp in berth over the filter. Tighten the hose clamp until the filter is secure.


4. Disconnect the electrical connector by urgent in on the tabs and pulling the connector off.3. Remove the hose clamp that holds the filter to the vent hose.
