Jaguar was founded in One thousand nine hundred twenty two by Sir Williams Lyons. It is a manufacturer of luxury cars and retained its headquarters in Coventry, Great Britain, much after activity acquired by Indian automaker Tata Motors in 2008. Jaguar was originally called the Swallow Sidecar Partnership, and built motorcycle sidecars in the creation. In One thousand nine hundred twenty six the collection started building cars, and in One thousand nine hundred fourty five it was renamed Jaguar.
Assembly Plant
Jaguars are built at the partnership's Castle Bromwich and Halewood facilities in Birmingham and Liverpool, Great Britain.
On the Racetrack
Jaguar has seen flying colors on the racing trail, having won multiple times in the Lemans Twenty four Hours, winning five times in the 1950s.
