In the attempt to design a combination aircraft/road vehicle more closely related to the road than the sky, Moller International also mocked up a design for a flying car called the Autovolantar.




The Transition is an aircraft/way vehicle in one, engineered by a chain of MIT students. This flying motorcar gets Thirty five mpg on the path and burns Five gph while cruising in the air. The Transition has been certified by the Federal Aviation Governance (FAA), and is scheduled for accredited Proceeds in Two thousand eleven for an estimated get value of $200,000 to $250,000.

Moller International specializes in personal vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (VTOL). It created a dual-purpose M400 Skycar that has a 750-mile air/road range and is expected to get over Twenty miles per gallon on gasoline.
