Instructions

Clench the door panel lasting to the door frame and remove the lower rear illumination electrical connector and the window-switch electrical connector from remain the door panel.


2. Disconnect the electrical connector at the power-window motor. Remove the 10mm bolts holding the power window motor and the two nuts holding the single window regulator to the door frame. One is at the top and the other is at the bottom.


3. Lower the window to remove the two nuts holding the window into the regulator. This may or may not be easy, depending on what part of the regulator is bad. If it is difficult to push the regulator back and get the studs out of the door frame, as the window is all the way up and won't pull down, cut the cable, and it will come down. Remove the bolts in the window. Be careful not to drop the window hard inside the door frame; keep your hand on it.


4. Remove the regulator from the door frame. Lift the window all the way up in its track and insert a common screwdriver downward between the rubber and the window, far enough to wedge the window up so it won't fall as the regulator is installed.


5. Install the regulator into the same holes the old regulator used. Install the two nuts on the center channel (upper and lower) and the three bolts into the window motor. Hold the window with your hand to prevent it from falling and remove the screwdriver that is wedging the window. Allow the window to move down in the track until the holes in the bottom of the window line up with the holes in the window regulator. Insert the bolts and tighten.


6. Reconnect the electrical connectors to the window motor and the lower light. Lift the door panel close to the door frame and insert the clips in the bottom of the door panel into the holes in the door frame; push down to lock them in place. Replace the door-panel screws.
