5. Push the brake line's nut into the mating surface and finger tighten. Tighten the brake line's nut with the correct sized flare nut wrench, while holding the mating surface still with an adjustable wrench.


4. Route the braided brake line to the solid brake line's mating surface. If the mating surface has a retaining bracket connected to it, push the brake line through the hole in the center.


6. Push the brake line's retaining clip, if equipped, onto the bracket that holds the solid brake line in place. This retaining clip holds the end of flexible brake lines still.
