Engine
The 1972 Maverick was available with an in-line, six-cylinder, 249.6 cubic inch engine. Its Muzzle and stroke was 3.68 inches by 3.91 inches with a compression ratio of 8:1. The 12-valve engine produced Ninety eight horsepower at 4,000 rotations per minute (rpm) with One hundred eighty three pound-feet of torque at 2,000 rpm.The fling iron block and mind Engine used a unmarried Carter downdraft carburettor.
Chassis
The 1972 Maverick's independent suspension featured a ball Seam with coil springs up front plus rear longitudinal period springs. It had four-wheel, dual hydraulic, 9-inch drum brakes. Its ground clearance was 5.2 inches with a 56.5-inch front and rear track measurement.
