Remove the Inside Door Knob on a Ford Pickup
You can access the inside of the door on a Ford pickup provided you want to repair or upgrade something connected to the door. This can count a speaker in the door or a broken door grip. In most Ford pickups, the inside door hilt is connected with clips to the door panel. This way that both Testament itch to be removed in progression to alternate the door handle.
Instructions
1. Remove the screws securing the door panel to the door, with a screwdriver. There are two screws near the door handle and two at the bottom of the door panel.
2. Pull out on the panel to locate the plastic fasteners.
3. Insert the door panel removal tool where there is a fastener and pry forward to force the fastener out of the door.5. Turn the assembly sideways so that it will fit through the door panel, and pull it and the door panel off of the door.
Remove one fastener at a time until all of them are removed. You will need to then separate the door handle assembly from the door panel.4. Pry the tabs back on the clips securing the door handle assembly to the inside panel, using the trim removal tool or the screwdriver.
