4. Examine the screws. Once the throttle body is removed from the air intake, you will be able to see the IACV properly. There are five screws that hold the IACV to the throttle body. These screws can be easily removed using the socket wrench. Start the engine and check the condition of the idle. Select a gear with the clutch depressed and the revs should rise Two hundred rpm.


Attach the new IACV in its place and refit the rest of the parts in the reverse order you removed them.5. Remember to refit the electrical connectors and the negative battery lead to the battery.
