6. Mount the voltage inverter wherever convenient with either double-sided tape or velcro. Press the inverter firmly in place to ensure adhesion. Connect the inverter to a spare 12-volt, 4-pin molex connector from the computer power supply. In the event you don't have a spare, some kits provide a splitter, or you can purchase one at most any computer retailer.
7. Replace the side panel closing the computer case. Connect the power cable and boot up. If you installed the optional switch, make sure it is turned on.
