2. Remove the cover plate to access the mirror housing mounting bolts from the inside of the door. The cover plate is on the inside of the door, opposite the mirror housing. Remove the cover by pulling outward on it manually.


3. Disconnect the electrical harness from the mirror motor by lifting up on the locking tab and pulling the tabs apart. If the mirror is not equipped with electronic controls, proceed to the next step.


4. Remove the three nuts that secure the mirror housing to the door. Use a Ten mm socket, ratchet and short extension bar.


5. Pull the mirror housing out of the door then insert the replacement mirror and housing into the door and secure the housing with the original mounting nuts.


6. Reconnect the electrical harness if so equipped then mount the cover plate back onto the door.
