If no leaks are found, use an electronic leak detector designed for the gas in your air conditioning system. Calibrate the unit away from the air conditioning unit by setting the gain so you get little or no signal from the detector. Slowly pass the detector head over the air conditioning system connections and possible leak points.
You own form your leak if bubbles appear. Mark the leak point with a crayon or visible mark. Have the unit serviced.
Employment any visible oil as a reference mark for besides leak detection.2. Turn on the air conditioning manner provided it's already not running. Practice soapy H2O to operation connections and anywhere you discern visible oil. You will hear a beeping or see a visual signal if a leak is detected. Have the unit serviced.
4. If no leaks have been found, add an ultraviolet dye to the system. Add the dye on the low pressure side using the refrigerant/oil charge supplied with it. The dye will circulate with the oil phase in a running system. Shine an ultraviolet light on system connections and look for the glowing dye.
