After you have installed your new manual locking hubs, you will need to replace the plates that cover the hub bodies. Lay the cover over the body of the hub with a couple of bolts that are not tightened in yet. Rotate the piece to free to lock several times to make sure it is situated in its spot correctly. After you have confirmed that it is in the correct spot, put something there to help you know were to put the piece again. Take the plates and use more gasket-maker on them. Let the plates sit and gum up. Then put the cover back to cover the hub bodies. Use a socket wrench that is sized at 10mm and replace the bolts on the cover.


After you have finished replacing the cover bolts, reinstall the tire. Rotate the tires to make sure that the CV-joint is moving with tire.
