Clean off any extra sealant spilling around the glass and rubber gasket with your lacquer thinner and a razor blade.
7. Apply more sealant between the rubber gasket and body. You don't want leaks. If the seal breaks in the next step while you are installing the stainless-steel metal molding of the windshield, remove the molding and seal again.
8. Replace the stainless-steel windshield molding on each side of the windshield by pressing it firmly with the palm of your hand until it pops under the clips.
