Treat Oxidized Auto Aluminum Trim

Aluminium trim was used on older vehicles as fender trim, wheel-well trim and body-line trim, and was as well used sorrounding windows and windshields. Most fresh vehicles immediately cause plastic or chrome trim rather than aluminium. Oxidation occurs on aluminum trim when it has been exposed to UV rays and counted on elements. Sanding the trim can remove the oxidation, nevertheless it can liberty broad scratches in the aluminium. This type of trim is installed by pushing it down and snapping it into place.3. Rinse the cleaner off with water and a clean cotton towel. Use the towel to help remove the cleaner. Let the trim dry.


4. Wipe the trim with aluminum polish and a microfiber towel. This brings a shine to the aluminum and adds a layer of protection from future oxidation and tarnish. Let the polish dry for Ten minutes before replacing the trim on the car.
