Application a Phillips screwdriver to remove a hidden panel screw under the sail. Pry up the master window switch plate and disconnect all switches from their electrical connectors. Remove panel screw inside the switch housing and another inside the courtesy light housing after lens removal. Remove the inside door handle plastic trim plate by pulling the handle outward and prying up the plate. An exposed 9mm bolt can now be removed with a small socket wrench. Pull the door panel up and away from the door and disconnect the courtesy light plug and power mirror plug. Set the panel aside and carefully peel off the plastic dust cover.


Most window track and moulding problems can be constant without removing the window or window regulator by re-gluing damaged moulding with a worthy gasket cement, cleaning the window edges and channels with acetone and spraying the channels with silicone for lubrication.3. Remove the Chauffeur's side inside door panel and plastic dust encompass to access the window Engine and regulator. 5. Remove the window motor by using the hole saw centered over each of the three dimples in the door frame and cutting access holes to uncover the motor retaining bolts. Before bolt removal make sure the scissor-type window regulator arms are fixed to prevent sudden arm movement and possible injury caused by the uncoiling of the counterbalance spring. Use a socket wrench to remove the three bolts and replace the defective motor. To remove a damaged regulator, first manually close the window and tape it into position. Remove the two retaining bolts and extract the regulator assembly. Install new regulator and /or motor. Reconnect power to the switches and motor to test window movement before reassembling the door panel.
