Stare at the cargo space. When down, many convertible tops take up quite a bit of trunk space.
1. Consider the interior. If it gets wet, leather or vinyl will be easier To cleanse or dry off than cloth.
2. Think about safety. Some convertibles now have roll bars that will pop up automatically in the event of an accident. Others have reinforced windshields.
3. Examine the top's folding mechanism. Is it easy to function? How fast is it?
4. Look for a glass rear window. Plastic rear windows don't last very long and are hard to see through.
5. Consider the body structure. Convertibles have added reinforcements to make up for the absence of a roof. However, some are better than others. Listen for uncharacteristic rattles, creaks and shakes when you drive over rough pavement.
6.Whether you hope for to guide with the wind in your hair, cipher beats a convertible. But, to select the mould that's hold up for you, there are a hardly any matters to take into account.
