Northern Michigan Vehicle Shows

The three main categories of competition are stock, modified and stock foreign, which are then subdivided by year. This car show not only includes older model cars, but also new cars dating from One thousand nine hundred seventy five to the present. Along with prizes for the different car categories, the Collector's Car Show has additional awards for best paint, best interior, best engine, best of show and mayor's choice. This show is a two-day event starting with a riverfront cruise on the Friday and continuing to the all-day judging competition on Saturday.



St. Ignace Car Shows


Starting in mid-June, St. Ignace holds a incongruity of vehivle shows and events that span toward the borderline of the month. The two-day Antiques on the Bay competition begins the megalopolis's vehivle pageant season. Direct to all initial vehicles (1985 or older), the contest crowns winners in indefinite categories with the Blessing in Fanfare receiving a two-night stay at Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel. Frankfort Collector's Car Show


Frankfort, Michigan hosts an annual Collector's Motorcar Demonstrate that is held last of Aug and features competition categories for nearly every make and model of vehicle on the road or kept pristine in garages.

Frankenmuth's Auto Fest is held every year on the second weekend in September. The show starts Friday night with the "Big Block" party. The following day begins the more traditional part of the car show with the cars moved into specially designated parks. Rather than having a small group of judges selecting which cars win prizes, the judging is done by the car enthusiasts who visit the show. In honor of Frankenmuth's brewery, the prizes in this competition are authentic German beer steins and the top Twenty five cars selected receive car jackets. This car show is designed to be a family affair and has magic shows and concerts to keep everyone entertained.
