1. Combine Three cups of vinegar and One cup of water in a container.


2.Remove refrigerate from your windscreen using a homemade vinegar-water solution.A homemade solution of vinegar and water can help in scraping the ice off a windshield. The acidity in vinegar will make the ice melt and allow you to use less effort to scrape the ice away. The homemade vinegar-water solution will also save money because you will no longer need to purchase expensive windshield deicer for your car.



4. Turn on the defroster setting on your car. Use the lowest setting to prevent cracking your windshield.


5. Apply the homemade deicing solution to the windshield. Use an ice scraper or old rag to begin removing the ice from your windshield.


6. Keep applying the solution until you defrost the entire windshield. For best results, start at a corner of your windshield and work your way to the center.


7. Store the vinegar-water solution in a dry environment.
